This past weekend, Desk+Chair Samui turned into a cozy, sunlit studio for our very first Sip & Paint event—and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, our members gathered for an evening of creativity, connection, and a little bit of wine. With paintbrushes in one hand and wine glasses in the other, everyone settled in to enjoy a relaxed, colorful escape from the everyday.

What made the evening even more special was that our guide for the night—a talented local painter—was one of our very own community members. It was amazing to see one of our own lead the session with such warmth, passion, and encouragement, inspiring everyone to express themselves on canvas, no matter their skill level.

Set against the backdrop of a breathtaking Samui sunset, the space was filled with laughter, creativity, and the clink of glasses. Add in some light snacks and good company, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a memorable night.

This is just the beginning of many more creative and community-focused events at Desk+Chair. Stay tuned—there’s lots more to come.
